5th YEREVAN OPEN International Chess Tournament

Yerevan Chess Federation is organizing “5th Yerevan Open” International Open Chess Tournament from September 29 to October 7.

System:
Tournament A & B: 9 round Swiss system
Blitz tournament: 9 round Swiss system

Participants:
Tournament A: open to players with FIDE rating 2100 and above. (Organizer reserves the right to allow limited number of players with Fide rating below 2100).
Tournament B: open to players with FIDE rating 2200 and below. FIDE unrated players who have I and II chess rank are also eligible to participate in this tournament.
Blitz tournament: open to all participants of tournaments A and B, as well as all FIDE rated players.

Time control:
Tournament A: 90 minutes for the first 40 moves, plus 30 minutes till the end of the game with 30 seconds increment per move, starting from move one.
Tournament B: 90 minutes till the end of the game with 30 seconds increment per move, starting from move one.
Blitz tournament: 3 minutes with 2 seconds increment per move.

Prizes:
The total prize fund of the three tournaments is 15 000 000 AMD.
